The City of Dallas is in the process of transitioning from the POSSE system to the new DallasNow program for permitting. As part of this transition, there will be a one-week migration period (April 25th to May 2nd) during which they will be unable to process inspections in a timely manner.
Please note the following important dates and guidelines which came directly from the City of Dallas:
- DO NOT submit Green and Energy Inspections during the Migration Period (April 25th to May 2nd)
During this period, we will be unable to process inspections due to the migration process. We recommend prioritizing your inspection schedules and submitting all inspections by April 24th, 3:00 PM to ensure they are processed on time.
- Extended Office Hours from April 14th to April 25th - Office Hours 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
To accommodate the limited-service period during migration, the City will have extended office hours from April 14th to April 25th from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Normal Inspection Processing Resumes on May 5th
Starting May 5th, the DallasNow program will go live, and inspections will be processed in the usual manner.
For more details on this transition, please visit their website https://dallascityhall.com/departments/sustainabledevelopment/Pages/DallasNow.aspx
During this time, Evans Service Company, LLC will still be performing reviews, inspections & testing but we will not be able to submit final paperwork to the City of Dallas.
Contractors: please be sure, once the new system is up and running, to add us as your Energy Code and Green Provider at the time of permit submission. We have been told that if you do not add us at the time of permitting that there will be a $30 fee for each trade to get us added.
